Diana Ross is an American singer and actress who rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of The Supremes, one of the most successful and influential girl groups of the 1960s. Following the group's disbandment, she established a successful solo career spanning R&B, pop, and soul, becoming one of the best-selling female artists of her era. Her work helped define the Motown sound and established her as a cultural icon across music and film.
