Artist profile
Talking Heads were an art rock and post-punk band formed in New York in the mid-1970s, known for their angular guitar work, neurotic vocals, and increasingly dance-oriented sound through the late 1970s and 1980s. Led by David Byrne, the group became central figures in the new wave and dance-punk movements, collaborating with producer Brian Eno on several landmark albums. Their music combined minimalist rhythms, funk influences, and art school experimentalism into a distinctive aesthetic that influenced generations of alternative and electronic musicians.
Talking Heads is a restrained with strong groove and a warm production — mostly instrumental artist.
