Happy Mondays are a British rock and dance band from Manchester, formed in the late 1980s, known for blending funk, psychedelia, and house music into a distinctive indie dance sound. Led by vocalist Shaun Ryder, the group became central figures in the Madchester scene and released influential albums including *Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People* and *Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches*. The band reunited for performances and recordings in the 2000s following an initial breakup in the early 1990s.
